Leap Frog

One of my most challenging projects so far has been matching a canvas and wall letters to this sweet nursery set.
It's called Leapfrog by JoJo in case you're wondering where you can find it!
It was sooo cute and when I was asked to do this project I was super excited but also nervous because I didn't want to mess up such an adorable room.
I completed the Inital set first

I went with striped, checkered, and polka dotted patterns for each letter
I somehow managed to do the frogs almost exactly the same as in the bedding
I added the snail and dragon fly which I thought were really cute and had to be a part of the canvas
I also wanted the letters to coordinate with the canvas so I incorportated the same patterns I used for the letters in
I'm really pleased with the way they turned out
Baby Holland's nursery is going to be almost as sweet as he will be!!

Clocks!

Now is this not too cute?!
I bought a thin circle piece of wood at Hobby Lobby as a challenge to myself
I knew there was something I could turn this into
It had slipped my mind that I really wanted to try to make a clock
Now I finally had an opportunity
I didn't waste anytime purchasing the rest of the supplies and posting my idea for takers
Thankfully someone responded that they wanted an Alabama theme
Soooooo
this is what I came up with!!!
It ticks and it tocks!
My very first made from scratch clock!
I can't wait to do other cute themes so let me know if you would like to be next!

Art Sunday

I haven't updated my blog in a while and I apologize from the bottom of my heart!
I've been so busy preparing for Art Sunday lately, which by the way was so much fun!
In the morning at least
Unfortunately around lunch the rain began to set in.
Although it was much needed, I was sad that it had to come at such a bad time.
I was able to pick up a few orders that day and spread the word about my art so all in all I would consider it a successfull day
Thank you to everyone who came out to support me and a very special thank you to my sweet boyfriend who I could NOT have made it without. He did everything I asked and more. Thank you Johnny! You're the best!
If you were unable to make it and want to place an order, don't forget you can email me at
I'd also like to let everyone know I now have a facebook page!
You can find the page and like it to show support as well as recieve updates first!!!
Thanks again for all your support! It means more to me than yall can imagine!

Coming Soon!!

I've found that thinking of new projects or things I can do can be compared to a drug addict finding a bag of cocaine on the sidewalk.
That's how excited I get.
I have so many ideas that I can barely sleep sometimes!
I can NOT wait for Art Sunday!
While wandering around Hobby Lobby, I discovered these little booklets with new ideas all over the store!
I couldn't help myself. I had to pick every last one of them up and look!
The last one I found (and I partially think that's due to the fact that once I found this one and had this idea I was so excited I forgot about everything else in the store) was for pillowcase dresses.
I've always thought they were just the sweetest things!
Now guess what my next project is?!?!?!!??!
I AM SO EXCITED I CAN BARELY BREATHE RIGHT NOW!
I am waiting for my grandmother to send me her pattern and helpful hints in the mail then I'm getting started!!!!
I really hope to be able to afford my own sewing machine and stuff but right now I'll most likely be using my aunts so I won't be able to actually monogram them which makes them a ton cuter so
if anyone knows someone who monograms for cheap, holla at a sista!!
Here are some examples..and I know there's quite a few but they are so dang cute I just can't get enough!!!!!!

Now as you know, painting is my specialty so I can definitely paint the names on the dresses myself!

Tell me she doesn't look PRECIOUS!
Be ready! Because soon yours truly will be filling your angels closet with these adorable dresses!

Here We Go!

Hey everyone!!
I've decided to start a blog for my designs!
For those of you who haven't noticed, I have a new hobby!
Painting. Everything.
I'm trying to turn this hobby into a summer job so
 ORDER ORDER ORDER!!!!
and after you place an order
 SHARE SHARE SHARE!!!!
I won't be able to make this a success without the help of YOU!
(sorry the pictures aren't that great. I've been taking them with my phone)

These are some of the canvases I have finished!! I LOVE the way they are turning out and I can't wait to try new ideas! Considering I give a lot of this credit to elliepdesigns!

I've also been painting letters!
These are 8 inches so they are for inside walls/doors
But I've received quite a few orders for outside letters..and as soon as I can find precut letters or manage to cut my own I promise to start those!!

This is a picture frame I finished for a sweet little boy Noah's nursery!
Pretty precious, right?!
I don't only paint canvases and letters!!
I also have a lap desk ready to be painted!! And I'm working on doing CLOCKS! and more more more to come!
Thank you SOO much for all the support so far.
All your sweet compliments mean the world to me.
This is something I've been wanting to do for quite some time now and I can't wait to keep it going!
To place an order or if you have any questions feel free to leave a comment below OR you may contact me through facebook or email!!

ONE MORE THING!!!
I want to add that a few of these designs are copies of canvases done by Megan Gunter who has her own successful business called ElliePDesigns. www.elliepdesigns.blogspot.com.
Her work is FABULOUS and has been an inspiration to me. I used her designs to practice and didn't sell them. These were given as gifts. I wouldn't want to take any credit for her work. I know she works very hard and does a great job. I hope to someday be half as talented!!
